Insurance work

Re-decorating works following floodwater, fire and smoke damage are carried out swiftly and competently.

Exterior work

Includes fascias, soffits, doors, decking weather proofing buildings and painting fences.  Mould treatment and application of anti-fungal solutions.  Spray painting and power washing.

Interior work

We are happy to discuss the smallest of decorative jobs from painting a single room to a major complete interior project.  All types of wallpaper hung – we can arrange purchase of specialist papers.

All work is supervised firstly, by our expert foremen and secondly, by one of our directors.

From individual rooms to complete rebuilds – we will ames tape to you requirements.

Gold leaf application

Exterior and interior gilding applied correctly will look as good as new for over 25 years and will not degrade or tarnish.  Applications to religious edifices, public buildings and private residences.

Specialist finishes

Our company are specialists in applying a variety of specialist finishes including graining, marbling, rag rolling, gilding and scumble effects.

Paint analysis service

We provide a full paint analysis service including pigment investigation under both stereo and polarising microscopes both for the private individual and architects restoring period properties.

Investigation of historical schemes

With the information obtained from our paint analysis service, historical schemes can be re-created.

Conservation specialists

Paints can be manufactured to original specification; our company are preferred contractors for many restorative bodies including Historic Scotland, National Trust for Scotland and Landmark Trust.

Design service

Advice can be given on historical schemes, colours and wall hangings for all periods from the 17th century.
